General Policies
Students must present a valid BC Learner’s Driver’s License before participating in any lesson.
Students are required to dress appropriately and wear proper footwear. Heels and flip-flops are not permitted.
All students must be registered and payment must be completed in advance, no later than the first lesson.
Midtown Driving School reserves the right to cancel or reschedule lessons due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., instructor illness or vehicle breakdown). Students will be notified as soon as possible, and the lesson will be rescheduled.
Midtown Driving School may cancel a lesson without refund if a student is suspected of being under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or if they use foul, abusive, or aggressive language.
Any student displaying disrespectful, threatening, or unsafe behavior will have their lesson terminated immediately without refund and may be banned from returning to Midtown Driving School.
If a student is involved in an accident and is found at fault by ICBC, they will be responsible for paying the applicable deductible in accordance with the insurance policy.
Late & Cancellation Policy
If a student is more than 15 minutes late, the instructor will leave, and the lesson will be considered a “no-show.” No refund or rescheduling will be provided.
A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a lesson.
Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled lesson will result in the full lesson fee being charged or the lesson being forfeited.
Refunds for unused lessons will only be issued if at least 48 hours’ notice is provided to Midtown Driving School.
Cancellation fees will apply to refund requests made within 48 hours of a scheduled lesson.
No refunds will be issued for completed driving lessons, regardless of the outcome of a road test.
All lesson purchases are final sale and non-transferable.
